Zak, Cathy , Miranda, Casey, Kiera

While books are with the printing team and final editors, Zak & Casey decided to form a marketing team. Marketing teams are important because they help get the message out there that there is an awesome book coming to everyone soon about Wyoming’s famous horse. Everyone meets regularly to share input, especially creative, and we make timelinesto make it happen.Our marketing team started with Cathy Holman (Prairie Wife) and Miranda Berdahl (Owner of Wind City Books). Both of these business ladies are specialized and quite good at what they do. They helped make the goal of putting Wyoming’s logo, a book about Steamboat, on big best selling lists like the New York Times. Cathy has taught us a lot about social media and how to reach our possible customers. Miranda has taught more about the book world and how to reach booksellers. Both are invaluable. Next Kiera Hett entered 6 months later to help bring her creative input on social media and how to reach our customers. She has been just as invaluable, hard working and imaginative with ideas. It also helps spread the workload, because marketing is just as much work as building the book! But we know it’s worth it, plus building awesome relationships like this is invaluable.
